A message from Owner/Club Director Rhonda Williams:
I would like to introduce myself as the Director for the SETX Elite Volleyball Club. I am excited about the opportunity to take this club to a higher level as I strive to promote volleyball in the Golden Triangle area. I am blessed to have this opportunity to do what I love. Children are my heart and volleyball is my passion. Thank you to those who choose to be a part of SETX Elite and I welcome everyone into the SETX Elite Volleyball family.
This is Rhonda's seventh year as Director and Coach for SETX Elite. She began coaching volleyball at Burkeville High School from August 2003 until May 2007. She was hired to improve a failing volleyball program which she brought from last place in district to the 3rd round of the playoffs. She left for a promotion with Beaumont ISD in August 2007. And previously held the position of Head Volleyball coach at Little Cypress Mauriceville High School. In her inaugural season of 2019 at LCM she made school history. Her team finished second in district advancing to the playoffs. They won the Bi-District Championship and the Area Championship. Currently she is in her 2nd year as the Head Coach at Nimitz High School in the Aldine school district. Every year she produces All-District players who continue their playing careers on the collegiate level. She's coached club volleyball for eleven seasons (1 for Extreme, 2 for Texas Stars, and 2 for SETX Juniors).
